This is the time of year when winter really begins to get old–the cold, the wind, the slush, the extra travel time, and, most of all, the lack of daylight. The Super Bowl is over; the NBA has boiled down to three or four dynasty teams; March Madness is still a month away; spring training is, well, just spring training. Of course, we’ve got hockey but that won’t be fully decided for several months. Television is dominated by politics and the not-so-great state of the world. What’s the best way to best the winter blahs?
You guessed it. Plan a fishing trip to Big Sand Lake Lodge. Make the call to Rick or Lynda at 1-800-348-5824 and begin anticipating an unforgettable Northern Manitoba fishing experience. Big Sand has a very limited number of spots open at the Main Lodge and at some of the outposts….but limited is the operative word. Call Rick or Lynda this week and see how affordable they can make a trip for you and your group. Then you’ll immediately shake off the winter doldrums and begin planning for and anticipating the excitement of catching Trophy Northern Pike and Lake Trout, countless numbers of Walleyes (a few of which you’ll enjoy at our daily shore lunch) and even Arctic Grayling should you choose to venture into some of the many rivers and streams running in and out of Big Sand.
Remember, trips to Big Sand are all-inclusive out of Winnipeg–with just tax, license (waiting for you at the lodge) additional.
Moose Hunters–Too late to book for this season. We’re already sold out. If you want a trophy Moose Hunt like no other in Canada with nearly 100% results this past season, make your reservation for 2018 soon. The spots there are already beginning to fill up.
